MainPlace Art Walk set for Sep. 14 features activities, giveaways and live music

MainPlace, a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California, invites the community to enjoy its fun and interactive monthly Art Walk event on Saturday, September 14th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The event will feature a colorful paper lantern art workshop near Center Court and a dinosaur magnet workshop near Round One (while supplies last). There will also be a live painter in front of the Food Court escalator (near the main entrance); face painting near JCPenney; and live entertainment on the stage in Macy’s Court.

On September 14th, the entertainment includes upbeat tunes spun by the popular DJ Richie (2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.) and a soul rock performance by Thee Almighty Majestics (3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.).

This event is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required. During this monthly event, MyPerks loyalty program members are invited to drop by the MyPerks Lounge for a free hands-on mini red lantern workshop (while supplies last).

Not a MyPerks member? No problem. Joining is free and easy; simply download the center’s MyPerks app from the Google Play or Apple App Store and sign up. To learn more about the Art Walk Series or other upcoming events at MainPlace, visit https://www.shopmainplacemall.com/events.
