The City of Santa Ana is hosting a Día De Los Muertos/Day of the Dead event at Roosevelt Walker Community Garden on Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This FREE event is open to all ages and will include:

  • Arts and crafts activities
  • Music
  • Games
  • Ofrendas/offerings to an altar built by your friendly Parks and Rec staff

This special day dates back thousands of years and is meant to be a celebration that honors passed loved ones, through offerings and special dedicated altars. Typical festivities for this day include family gatherings, sugar skulls, paper mâché skeletons, music, and traditional attire.

The Roosevelt-Walker Community Center is located near the intersection of E Chestnut Ave. and S Standard Ave. at 816 E Chestnut Ave.
