Last week, police officers responded to multiple residential burglary calls. The suspect fled prior to the arrival of the police officers, according to the Fountain Valley Police Department.

Several hours later, the same suspect threatened a resident with a knife after attempting to steal a bicycle.

The armed suspect was successfully taken into custody after a foot pursuit. The police officers found a cleaver style knife on him as well as a box opener type cutter.

He was arrested on a “no-bail” warrant and attempted robbery, with additional charges requested for burglary and loitering.
