An Irvine man was arrested for breaking home and car windows with a slingshot

Recently, a police officer investigated a series of incidents in Cypress Village where a suspect used a slingshot to break vehicle and home windows, according to the Irvine Police Department.

A patrol officer developed a lead on a suspect and, with the help of detectives, wrote a search warrant for the suspect’s house. The warrant was served yesterday, and the suspect was found hiding in a closet.

Officers recovered several slingshots and pellets believed to be used in the crimes.

Sang Min Lee, 55, of Irvine, was arrested and booked at Orange County Jail on felony vandalism charges and warrants related to vandalism in Los Angeles.

    Yet irvine always makes backwards list of greatest places to live
