Over the last week, Garden Grove Police Department Community Impact Unit (CIU) officers had been searching to apprehend an armed and dangerous individual.

On March 23, 2023, they learned the wanted subject was possibly at a location in the City of Anaheim. With the assistance of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and the Garden Grove Police Department’s K9 Unit, the suspect was taken into custody, without incident.

During the search of his person, a loaded .357 Magnum was located. Further investigation found the vehicle he was driving was stolen.

CIU was also able to recover an additional stolen vehicle the suspect was associated with. He was arrested and later booked into Orange County Jail for various felonies.
