A woman’s body was found in a refrigerator in a Santa Ana home’s garage on Thursday afternoon, around 2 p.m., according to the O.C. Register.

The refrigerator was in a detached garage next to a house in the 1000 block of North Jackson Street, according to the SAPD.

The garage was being rented to tenants by the home’s owners.

The tenants had moved out and the home owners were cleaning the garage when they made the grisly discovery in the refrigerator, which was still running.

The dead woman’s body was fully clothed. Investigators were trying to figure out who lived in the garage and their current address.

Police don’t know how many people were living in the garage.

A neighbor recalls that a man and a woman lived in the garage. She also recalled seeing the couple about a week ago.
