When officers arrived, they found four occupants in the vehicle. Two passengers were unconscious and unresponsive and trapped in the vehicle. OCFA responded to the scene and extricated the two trapped passengers. The four occupants were transported to area hospitals for medical treatment. A male passenger died from the injuries he sustained in the collision. The female passenger sustained life threatening injuries and remains on life support.

A male drove his Subaru westbound on MacArthur Blvd. and made an unsafe turning movement. The driver lost control of his vehicle and struck a light pole which caused the vehicle to overturn.

The driver of the Subaru was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.
