On February 13, 2022, at 9:47 P.M., the Santa Ana Police Department received multiple calls regarding a male pedestrian down in traffic lanes in the area of 2400 North Tustin Avenue.

Officers from the Santa Ana Police Department along with the Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene where the pedestrian was declared deceased.

Based upon the preliminary investigation, it is believed the pedestrian was in the northbound lanes of 2400 north Tustin Avenue. The pedestrian was struck by multiple vehicles travelling north on Tustin Avenue. The vehicles involved in this collision remained at the scene and the drivers were cooperative. Alcohol is not believed to have played a role in this collision. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
