A patrol officer observed a vehicle driving recklessly through a parking lot with screeching tires and a high rate of speed, continuing these actions out onto the roadway, according to the Tustin Police Department.

The police officer stopped the vehicle for an investigation. The officer keenly spotted an open can of crisp Twisted Tea within the vehicle.

After searching the vehicle, a loaded unserialized 9mm handgun was recovered.

The driver, a felon previously convicted of attempted murder, was promptly arrested and booked into jail.
