On Wednesday, just before 4:00 p.m., Orange Police dispatch received calls regarding a fight in progress at the 200 block of east Hoover.
The responding police officers determined a domestic assault had occurred and the suspect had fled into his residence.
The suspect was identified as a 22-year-old parolee named Edmundo Aguilar.
Officers established containment around the residence and Aguilar was found hiding inside his garage.
Aguilar was arrested and booked at Orange County Jail for the domestic assault and a parole hold.
