Santa Ana Gang Shooting

A 52-year-old man was found today at 1:33 p.m., on the front porch of a home that isn’t his, with a gunshot wound to his upper torso, according to the O.C. Register.

The incident happened at the 5600 block of West Highland Street, in Santa Ana, near La Quinta High School and Thomas Paine Elementary School.

The victim was found by a man who was visiting the home in question.  The victim was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, where he is in critical condition.

SAPD investigators were not clear if the victim had any connection to the people inside the home he was found at, or how he ended up there.

The home the victim was found at is in Santa Ana’s Ward 6, which is represented by Councilman Sal Tinajero.
