SAPD vice detectives with the assistance of Directed Patrol, served a search warrant at 1200 block E. Normandy today, according to their Twitter account.

This was an illegal marijuana cultivation facility in a light industrial zone.

The outcomes of the drug bust included:

  • 1 subject detained
  • handgun recovered
  • numerous marijuana plants in various stages
  • grow equipment

The investigation is continuing.

  1. Really sad that California is so greedy on the taxation of a MEDICINE that helps so many. Lower the tax then sales will boom. Most of us smart ones grow our own with a Rec. anyways now.

    1. It is legal to grow a few plants of your own. The police target the large illegal grow ops as they undermine the legal businesses and are often unsafe operations.
