The OC Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Sept. 26 to Oct. 4. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Archie’s Corner Market at Valero station, 4502 Westminster Ave., Santa Ana, Closed: Sept. 27, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Sept. 28
  • La Vaquita, 1633 S. Standard Ave., Santa Ana, Closed: Oct. 2, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Alberto’s, 12521 Harbor Blvd., Garden Grove, Closed: Oct. 2, Reason: Operating without a valid health permit, Reopened: Oct. 2
  • Art Of The Party, 17290 Newhope St., Suite A, Fountain Valley, Closed: Oct. 1, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 2
  • Ohana Hawaiian Grill, 17582 E. 17th St., Suite 104, Tustin, Closed: Sept. 27, Reason: Sewage overflow, Reopened: Sept. 28
  • Valerio’s, 649 N. Euclid St., Anaheim, Closed: Oct. 2, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • India Grill, 5373 Katella Ave., Suite E, Cypress, Closed: Oct. 2, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 4
  • Dickey’s Barbecue Pit at Buena Park Downtown, 8300 La Palma Ave., Suite A-1, Buena Park, Closed: Sept. 30, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: Oct. 1
  • Ginza Sushi, 1068 E. Bastanchury Road, Suite B, Fullerton, Closed: Sept. 26, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 27
  • Ricas Tortas y Mariscos, 2821 E. White Star Ave., Suite J, Anaheim, Closed: Sept. 26, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Sept. 30
  • Update: Donut Star at 22331 El Toro Road, Suite D, Lake Forest, which was ordered closed Sept. 27 because of insufficient hot water, was allowed to reopen Sept. 28.
  • Update: My Pho at 3426 E. Chapman Ave., Orange, which was ordered closed Sept. 27 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Sept. 28.
  • Update: Moros Cuban Restaurant at 1299 S. Harbor Blvd., La Habra, which was ordered closed Sept. 26 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Sept. 27.
  • Update: 25 Degrees at 412 Walnut Ave., Huntington Beach, which was ordered closed Sept. 25 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Sept. 28.
  • Update: China Impression at 1505 Mesa Verde Drive, Suite B, Costa Mesa, which was ordered closed Sept. 25 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Oct. 1.
