The O.C. Sheriff’s Department is searching for three suspects involved in a shooting that occured on June 28, 2022. A Santa Ana man was killed in that incident.

The shooting took place at 7:21 p.m. at the 7000 block of Lessue Ave. in Stanton. When the O.C. Sheriff Deputies arrived at the scene of the shooting they found a 49-year-old man and a 76-year-old man who were both wounded by gunshots.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment and the 49-year-old victim, Juan Cristalinas, of Santa Ana, was pronounced deceased.

Multiple suspects fled from the scene prior to the arrival of the Deputies.

Cristalinas was a pizza delivery driver for Domino’s Pizza.  He was trying to help the 76 year-old-man who was being assaulted by multiple men when he was shot.

The Sheriff’s investigators believe there were at least three suspects in the shooting, between the ages of 16 and 20.
