The Garden Grove Police Dept. shut down an illegal car meet and issued 10 citations

The Garden Grove Police Department’s Neighborhood Traffic Unit (NTU) responded to the El Super parking lot at 12888 Harbor Blvd., regarding an illegal car meet on August 29, 2023.

NTU Officers began proactively patrolling the lot for approximately 1 1/2 hours. During this time, approximately 150-175 vehicles were seen attempting to attend the car meet.

A total of 10 citations were issued, 2 vehicles were referred to the state referee, and 1 vehicle was impounded.

The Garden Grove Police Department has zero tolerance for illegal activities that come from these events!
