On 12/21/21, a male stole a package from a residence on Moss Glen Avenue in Fountain Valley. The value of the package was over $1000. On 12/28/21, a business in Fountain Valley provided services to a female who fled without paying. Turns out the two suspects were related!

Fountain Valley police detectives began investigating the two incidents and identified the related suspects.

On 01/18/22, FVPD police detectives responded to the 4300 Block of Roosevelt Avenue in Santa Ana. As a result of their investigation, Juan Munguia (27) of Santa Ana and Alexandria Alvidrez (24) of Irvine were arrested for grand theft and conspiracy. Munguia and Alvidrez were later booked into Orange County Jail.

Anyone with investigative leads regarding package theft in Fountain Valley is encouraged to report the incidents to the police. Case number DR# 21-41380.
