Advisory: SAPD Detectives Identify 17 Year Old Victim In Stabbing Death

Victim/Deceased: Jesus Daniel Flores (17) Tustin

On Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at 12:51 PM, SAPD Officers responded to a report of a stabbing, which occurred in the riverbed at 1st Street west of Fairview Street. The Officers discovered a 17-year old male suffering a stab wound to his upper torso. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 1:32 PM.

Preliminary reports indicate the victim, Jesus Daniel Flores, became involved in an altercation with two unidentified males at, or near, a homeless encampment under the riverbed overpass. The cause of the altercation is unknown at this time. Homicide Detectives are currently investigating and requesting the public’s assistance.
