Failed Santa Ana mayoral candidate Al Amezcua’s daughter, Valerie Amezcua, a Democratic Party candidate for the SAUSD School Board, is finally going to have a fundraiser, at the home of Republicans Dr. Arturo & Raquel Lomeli on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 20208 E. Rogers Drive, in Orange Park Acres, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.
Valerie ran previously for the SAUSD School Board in 2006, and lost to Roman Reyna, who she is now supporting for the Santa Ana City Council.
The event will be catered by Casa 7 Mares. Just to be safe, I looked up their record of health violations on the website of the Orange County Health Agency:

In far more important news though, Dr. Lomeli and Amescua Clan should recognize that this fundraiser does in deed represent an image problem.
The house at city council tonight was packed! and I highly doubt that any of the committed activist there have any interest in donating money to the campaigns of Amescua Clan, Pulido Clan or Benavides. The only people that donate political money are those that can not fight a political idea on it’s own merits. Get The money out of politics! Pronto Por Favor.

Why didn’t Dr. Orin Scrivello and Valerie Amezcua do their homework and check the OC Health Agency website on the restaurant they chose to cater their event?
Is this the kind of leadership one can expect from Ms. Amezcua? Vermin and Cockroaches are ok in the cafeterias of our schools. Improper Sanititizer Methods? Unsanitary Equipment?
None of this sounds good to me.
Valerie is a lowlife that surrounds herself with vermin like her father and John Palacio. The children of the SAUSD deserve better.
