Ricardo “Ricky” Salgado, a 22-year-old, was killed in a car accident this week, in Santa Ana, on Friday morning.
An online fund has been set up to help pay for funeral expenses, at this link.
Salgado attended Valley High School, loved soccer and was one of the most friendliest, caring & funny friend to many Valley High School students.
He worked at Apex Tent & Party Rentals.
Our Editor, Art Pedroza, worked at the O.C. Register and the OC Weekly and studied journalism at CSUF and UCI. He has lived in Santa Ana for over 30 years and has served on several city and county commissions. When he is not writing or editing Pedroza specializes in risk control and occupational safety.
