Thankfully, no one was injured, and firefighters contained the fire to a single apartment — saving the rest of the building.
The cause is under investigation. Thank you to our partners at Westminster PD, Huntington Beach Fire, and Fountain Valley Fire for the assistance. See less
Maybe I’m cold hearted, but there’s something really bizarre and almost disturbing about the image of a professional adult fire fighter who just risked his life in a burning building using miniaturized medical tools on a housecat. The pet craze is out of control, and it’s starting to feel like we’re living in a Twilight Zone episode where human children have been replaced by cats and dogs. Glad no humans were hurt.
Might have been equipment for infants.
