The CHP has issued an Ebony alert for 15-year-old Kris Walker, who is missing and is considered to be at-risk, according to the Anaheim Police Department.

Walker is 5’6″ tall and weighs approximately 145 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes.

If you see Walker or have any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact the Anaheim Police Department at 714-765-1900

​The California Statewide Ebony Alert Program was introduced through Senate Bill 673 and became law in 2024 by adding Section 8594.14 to the California Government Code. 

An Ebony Alert is a resource available to law enforcement agencies investigating the suspicious or unexplainable disappearance of a black  woman or black person.  The Ebony Alert will provide immediate information to the public to aid in the swift recovery of missing black persons, according to the CHP.

  1. I hope she is found alive and well, that she and her family get any needed resources to recover from such a horrific trauma, and any perpetrators are swiftly brought to justice. What a strange world we live in where a different alert is issued by the government based on the victim’s perceived race.
