Earlier this month, a couple of Westminster police officers conducted a proactive foot patrol in an area known for criminal activity.

As they were monitoring the area, they saw a subject known to be on probation who immediately ran from the officers.

A short foot pursuit ensued, and the male was detained after falling while running.

The male was found to be in possession of a ghost gun, an ounce of fentanyl, and a quarter ounce of methamphetamine.

The male is a convicted felon and was booked into the O. C. Jail on various charges.
