MEDIA ADVISORY

SANTA ANA – The Orange County District Attorney’s Office (OCDA) has posted a video slideshow and concert footage on YouTube from the Beat H.E.A.T. Rocking & Rally event that took place on Sept. 9, 2013. The message of the fight against human exploitation and trafficking, which victimizes women and children throughout Orange County, reached over 177,000 citizens through the Internet and by e-mail, and countless others through the media. In addition, 6,500 flyers were distributed to the Anaheim neighborhood surrounding Twila Reid Park and the event connected more than 50 non-profit groups with each other and the community to further their future outreach against human trafficking.

The OCDA would like to again thank the co-sponsors for this event: The City of Anaheim, Anaheim Councilwoman Kris Murray, California Against Slavery Research and Education, California Victim Compensation Program, Casa Youth Shelter, Community Service Programs Inc. (CSP) and the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force, Cottonwood Church, Crittenton Services for Children and Families, Diamond Bar Councilwoman Ling Ling Chang, Dream Center, FREE THEM, Get Safe USA, Grandma’s House of Hope, Orange County Supervisors Shawn Nelson and Janet Nguyen, Magnolia Baptist Church, State Board of Equalization Vice Chair Michelle Steel, Mike and Susan Schroeder, United States Attorney André Birotte Jr., Jerry Zomorodian of All American Petroleum Corporation, The Orange County Human Relations Commission, The Pepper Project, Rancho Santa Margarita Councilman Steve Baric, The Rock Church, Saving Innocence, iSanctuary, Vineyard Church of Anaheim, Wells Fargo, Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs, Orange County District Attorney Investigator’s Association, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, and Police Departments in the Cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Irvine, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, and Tustin.

Their efforts and contribution from the sponsors resulted in the event being hosted without out-of-pocket expense to the taxpayers and money was raised for CSP to directly assist victims of human exploitation and trafficking.

  1. “the fight against human exploitation and trafficking, which victimizes women and children throughout Orange County”………… Hmmmmmmm

This is same crapola like the Global Warming one!……. iLeft in its best!

If the “women and children” are victims here why is this creten Rackauckas arresting them for the prostitution?

    Why are COPs raping prostitutes?

So if there is any victimization of “women”?…….. it has noting to do with prostitution but its prohibition like any other prohibition.

Stop prohibitions!…… free the OC society.
