Recently, Fountain Valley police officers and firefighters responded to a structure fire at a Fountain Valley Recreation Center.
The fire was extinguished quickly, but caused significant structure damage.
The police officers ultimately located a male transient nearby with two torch lighters in his possession. He admitted to starting the fire and was later arrested and booked into Orange County Jail for arson.
