The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Sept. 10 to Sept. 18. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Wawa Donkatsu, 9562 Garden Grove Blvd., Suite G, Garden Grove, Closed: Sept. 16, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 18
  • Cafe Goc Pho, 9880 Bolsa Ave., Westminster, Closed: Sept. 15, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • Royal Liquor, 16501 Magnolia St., Westminster, Closed: Sept. 8, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Sept. 9
  • Quan Vit Vit Vit, 15579 Brookhurst St., Westminster, Closed: Sept. 10, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 11
  • Lien Hue, 14291 Euclid St., Suite D-102, Garden Grove, Closed: Sept. 10, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 11
  • Fortune Cookies, 1407 E. Katella Ave., Orange, Closed: Sept. 15, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Hometown Restaurant at 5394 Walnut Ave., Suite C, Irvine, which was ordered closed Sept. 9 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Sept. 14.
  • Westend, 814 W. 19th St., Costa Mesa, Closed: Sept. 17, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • A&J’s Drive-In, 403 S. Brookhurst St., Fullerton, Closed: Sept. 16, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Gonzalez Market, 2230 W. Valencia Drive, Fullerton, Closed: Sept. 10, Reason: No water supply, Reopened: Sept. 11
  • Selanne Catering Kitchen, 1458 S. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, Closed: Sept. 10, Reason: Plumbing in disrepair, Reopened: Sept. 16
  • Healthy Junk, 201 W. Center Street Promenade, Suite B, Anaheim, Closed: Sept. 10, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 15
  • RJ’s Cafe at 25001 Dana Point Harbor Drive, Suite F-120, Dana Point, which was ordered closed Sept. 10 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Sept. 11.
  • Loft Hawaiian Grill at 5950 Corporate Ave., Suite 300, Cypress, which was ordered closed Sept. 9 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Sept. 14.
  • Happy Liquor, 753 E. Whittier Blvd., La Habra, Closed: Sept. 4, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Sept. 9
  • Cafe Gazelle, 16041 Bolsa Chica Road, Huntington Beach, Closed: Sept. 4, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 8
