Around 10:30 on Friday night, Orange police officers attempted to stop a motorcyclist for traffic violations in the area of E. Riverdale and N. Tustin Street.

The motorcyclist failed to yield and a pursuit ensued. Officers followed the motorcycle for several miles in and around the city with the assistance of the Anaheim Police Department’s helicopter.

Shortly after the arrival of the CHP, the motorcycle’s engine failed, at which time the rider was taken into custody at the S/B 405 FWY and Irvine Center Drive.

The motorcycle was impounded and the suspect was booked at the OC Central Jail.
