On Sunday night, a police officer noticed a vehicle with registration that expired in January, 2020 and conducted a traffic stop, according to the Irvine Police Department.

The driver, who of course had no driver’s license, claimed to have purchased the car several months ago on “Offer Up” but left the pink slip at home.

The prior car owner verified the purchase but since the registration was expired over 4 years, the vehicle was towed to am impound yard.

During an inventory search of the car, a ghost gun with a high-capacity magazine was located in the center console.

The hapless driver was arrested.

If you are going to drive a car without a license at least make sure the car is properly registered – and leave your illegal gun at home…
