The Irvine Police arrested a Santa Ana man and his girlfriend for stealing a Subaru

On Thursday night, police officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle near Barranca and Millikan, according to the Irvine Police Department.

Patrol officers quickly found the Subaru, stolen the day before in Buena Park, at a nearby shopping center.

Sierra Monroe Irick, 25, of Anaheim, and Juan Jesus Belman, 24, of Santa Ana, had their night of fun and adventure cut short.

Both subjects received a complimentary ride to Orange County Jail. Irick was charged with possessing a stolen vehicle, and Belman was charged with providing false information to officers. Belman also received a parole violation.
