The City of Santa Ana is offering free sandbags with a major rainstorm on the way

Be prepared for rain! The National Weather Service has forecast a major storm will hit Southern California beginning Wednesday, Feb. 12, through Friday, Feb. 14, with heavy rain, possible flooding and dangerous road conditions especially on Thursday.

The City of Santa Ana is offering free sandbags to residents and businesses. Up to 10 sandbags are available per Santa Ana residence or business location.

Note – you have to fill the sandbags yourself so bring gloves and a helper and be prepared to get a bit dirty.
