The City Clerk has announced the Santa Ana City Council and Mayoral candidates

The Santa Ana City Clerk has closed the 2020 General Election candidate filing and so we now know who will be running for the City Council and for Mayor this November.

Ward 3 however was extended until August 12 so we are posting the candidates that we know pulled papers and will update this post once they are finalized.

Art Pedroza Editor

Our Editor, Art Pedroza, worked at the O.C. Register and the OC Weekly and studied journalism at CSUF and UCI. He has lived in Santa Ana for over 30 years and has served on several city and county commissions. When he is not writing or editing Pedroza specializes in risk control and occupational safety. He also teaches part time at Cerritos College and CSUF. Pedroza has an MBA from Keller University.
