N. Bristol Street was shut down this evening after a fatal crash between a motorcyclist and a taxi cab, at W. Memory Lane and N. Bristol St., according to the O.C. Register.

The crash happened at around 5:40 p.m., according to the SAPD.

There was a passenger in the cab who ended up injured due to the accident. That passenger was taken to a local1 hospital and was treated for injuries deemed minor, according to the SAPD.

The SAPD expects to keep N. Bristol St. closed, between Memory Lane and 17th St., until at least 10 p.m. tonight, while police investigators sort out what happened.

The name of the victim was not released. The police also did not reveal the name of the taxi cab driver or the taxi’s passenger.
