By: 69th Assembly District candidate Jose “Joe “ Moreno

My name Is Jose “Joe “ Moreno and I am still a candidate on the ballot for the 69th Assembly district.

A campaign mailer sent out yesterday on behalf of Tom Daly is a lie!

This particular mailer titled “Attention Republicans” was mailed to registered Republicans and also distributed by canvassers who called themselves Republicans.

My expanded freedoms, limited government, and absolutely “no new taxes” campaign brought relevancy to many of the 69th Assembly district voters but now Daly is so desperate, polling a distant 3rd place, that he is willing to mislead and lie to steal your vote.

Don’t believe Tom.

  1. With 4 to 6 hundred thousand dollars in campaign spending for Daly in the primary.

    That leave one question.

Who we be the other canidate in Nov.?

    1. A good question indeed. There is only one woman in the race, which gives Michele Martinez a huge advantage. Barragan and Perez are unknown. My friend Jose Moreno should do OK, but many Republicans, sadly, simply won’t vote for a Latino even when he is as Republican as they are.

I believe that Daly and either Martinez or Moreno will advance to the Nov. general election. I have endorsed both Martinez and Moreno and look forward to helping either of them in November.

  2. If Daly wins this thing the ONLY reason is because he is a 1 percenter and has so much $$$! If Martinez had his cash she could be Governor of California.

Seems like Santa Ana elected officials can’t catch a break when it comes to running for higher office. I checked the records and in a city that is the county seat of government with a 150 year history only TWO councilmembers or Mayors of Santa Ana have been elected to higher office. One was some guy named Patterson who was Mayor back in the 1970’s and won a seat in Congress and the other was Jose Solorio. That’s it. TWO PEOPLE. There have been some strong candidates like Grisett and Alvarez, and Moreno, and Yamamoto, and Acosta but none could get elected to higher office when they tried. Is it a Santa Ana curse? Is it because voters living outside of Santa Ana hate Santa Ana so much? I don’t know the answer but what I do know is that Michele Martinez would make a darn good State level leader and it will be a crying shame if she is not given the chance to lead. I hope she comes back and runs for Mayor and then runs for State office again until she gets there. She should also be named Mayor Pro Tem if she is not elected. It’s her turn.

  3. I have been wondering why Julio Perez, who has championed being “The second openly gay Perez to lead California” has not done so openly?

    Is this a campaign tactic?

His supporters call it “Gay Baiting” but, if Julio wants that vote, and it is a constituency, should he not stand up and say: “I am a Gay Man, and a canidate for office” OR “I am not gay, but I support 100% the gay rights agenda”.

This guy is clever, too clever.

OR MAYBE HE IS JUST A LIAR?

Daly is going to EAT him up on this, along with his FAKE address.

  4. Tom Daly is a joke. Has anyone wondered why it has taken this guy so long to win higher office? He is an opportunist and the corporate candidate. That means he will owe lots of favors to these people once elected. He can’t budget for his own department without the use of a special revenue fund which he misuses to hire his cronies like Steve Oftelie, Jean Pasco, Jennifer Lowe and Sarah Ament, his gardener’s wife – the one who can’t speak english and a flurry of others. Tom Daly has no back bone. He is anti same-sex-marriage but when he had a chance to make a statement on it he hid behind Jean Pasco’s skirt. His balls are as pink as a baby’s. Grow a pair Tom and stand up for something. I got his mailer last week and he touts crap that happened over a decade ago and takes too much credit for other people’s work. I’m suprised he didn’t say he invented a cure for polio!!! Tom Daly is a joke and a career politician.

  5. Tom Daly has a very selective memory. He’s a liar

I heard this “Janitor” while working claim was bogus and limited to a semester. He was in charge of something in some house, cleaning up the mess of other college students. It was minimal, like 10% of his duties was actually cleaning. Tom Daly giives a bad name for hard working janitors.

He lost the Rams. He lost the Rams…that’s the sole reason people should vote against him.

He bungled up that “Los angeles of Anaheim” thing and stuttered like a guilty baby at the legal hearing.

He constantly takes credit for anaheim’s prosperity that real reason is D-land , the Hotel that allow for the 50% of the General fund being paid by the bed tax.

These bed taxes paid for the extra police.

He was actually voted against the Anaheim Convention Expansion but takes credit for it now. Loser!
