Santa Ana Offers Action Plan to Help Businesses Cope With Economy, Changing Markets

SANTA ANA, Calif., Jan. 19, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The City of Santa Ana wants to make sure new and existing businesses not only survive during this tough economy, but thrive and prosper.

In an unprecedented/pioneering two-hour seminar, the city and its partners will provide Santa Ana businesses the strategies and resources to remain competitive and succeed in a tough business environment.

Advice in these demanding times is easy to come by, but the City of Santa Ana and facilitator OPIS Network have developed a program that provides not only a blueprint for success but the tools to implement these business-changing steps.

Helping 100 Businesses For 100 Days will be held on Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Bower Museum, 2002 N. Main St. in Santa Ana. Admission is free for the workshop. A networking breakfast prior to the workshop cost $15 per person. Seating is limited. RSVP online by clicking here or call 866-314-1127.

“Santa Ana has always been a business friendly city that has gone out of its way to attract new companies and entrepreneurs and make sure the jobs stay here,” said Linda Summers, economic development manager for the City of Santa Ana. “I think it is in everyone’s best interest that the city does what it can to insure the success of our growing business community.”

The workshop will highlight a 10-point strategy that will help business people find capital, cut costs, enhance profit, increase their client base and remain competitive in a technology-driven global economy.

Dave Naidu, president of OPIS Network, will be the facilitator/keynote speaker of the workshop. Guest speaker will be Rich Cosner, president of a Prudential California Realty, which has eight offices in Orange County and the Inland Empire. The 35-year real estate veteran will talk about starting his business from scratch, how he weathered several recessions and, most importantly, learned how to adapt to survive.

From those attending the workshop, 100 businesses will be selected to develop new strategies and break old habits over the next 100 days via in-person and remote instruction. The training, which consists of three live classes and six teleseminars, is free to participants.

Sponsors of the event include: High Tech Communications, Partners Bank, Southland EDC, Tax Credit Corp, Main Place and Geisha House.

OPIS Network in the past two decades has helped companies succeed through its 360 Degrees of Business Consulting & Marketing Solutions. For more information go to: www.opisnetwork.com
