The County of Orange and OC Parks are pleased to present the annual Halloween Zoo-tacular at the OC Zoo located inside Irvine Regional Park on Saturday, October 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Activities include trick-or-treating*, spooky kids crafts, a scavenger hunt*, and fun games! (*children ages 12 & under).

The first 100 children (ages 12 & under) in costume will receive a free gift!
Come see the zoo animals receive treat-filled pumpkins throughout the day! Reservations are not needed.

Activities are free with paid zoo admission (only $2 per person, ages 2 & under free). Zoo coupons/free passes are not valid for this event. Parking: $5 per vehicle.

The Santa Ana Zoo is also hosting their annual Boo at the Zoo event on Saturday, Oct. 20, Sunday, Oct. 21, Saturday, Oct. 27, and Sunday, Oct. 28.

Boo at the Zoo is a “Merry not Scary” family friendly event where everyone is encouraged to come in costume (no balloons)! One of the safest places for children (ages 2-12) to trick-or-treat for Halloween enjoying goodies from 10 Stations.

Boo at the Zoo features:

  • TEN Trick-or-Treat Stations throughout the Zoo providing a variety of toys, books, snacks, and candy on the Trick-or-Treat Trail
  • Entertainment
  • Animal Presentations
  • Storytelling
  • Fun and Games
  • Costume Parade

Ride the “Boofari” Express Train, Carrousel, and Ferris Wheel for an additional fee
“Teen Scream” Haunted House (a separate area, included in the price of admission)
Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Chips, and Sodas for sale (cash only) by Tustin-Santa Ana Rotary Club. Free Parking is available.

Santa Ana Zoo admission:

  • Adults (age 13+): $12.00
  • Seniors (age 60+): $9.00
  • Children (age 3-12): $9.00
  • FOSAZ Members: FREE
  • Children (under age 3): FREE
  • Parking: FREE
