Cal/OSHA is notifying employers in the construction, agriculture, tree-trimming, landscaping, car wash and warehouse industries that targeted inspections are occurring during the heat waves affecting most of the state now through next Wednesday. Employers in these industries are reminded that they are responsible for protecting their workers from all known hazards, including high heat.
Cal/OSHA on Monday, August 29 issued a high heat advisory for employers at outdoor worksites.

Workers may file confidential complaints about workplace safety and health hazards through their Cal/OSHA district offices.
