Beer at John Wayne Airport turns out to be a pretty good deal

Whether it’s a long layover or an unexpected delay at John Wayne Airport (SNA), a cold, refreshing beer is a great way to pass the time while you’re waiting for your flight. A new study shows you might be getting a good deal on that beer!

The team at FinanceBuzz collected price data for standard pours of popular domestic beers (Budweiser, Miller Light, Coors, etc.). They then compared costs at the 50 busiest U.S. airports to discover which airports serve up beer at the most inflated prices.

The overall average price for a domestic beer across America’s 50 busiest airports is $8.97, a 21% increase from 2023. So, where does SNA rank? SNA ranks #10 among the most affordable beers. A domestic pour is just $7.81, making it more affordable than the national average.
