Today, at 4:40 p.m., police officers responded to a bank robbery that occurred at the 4500 block of E. La Palma Ave., according to the Anaheim Police Department.

Upon the police officers arrival, they discovered the suspect had kidnapped at least one victim and barricaded inside a room within the bank.

In addition to Patrol Officers, on-duty Tactical Response Group personnel, comprised of SWAT Officers and Tactical Negotiators, responded. They ultimately rescued a victim and arrested the suspect.

The victim was uninjured, and no suspects are outstanding.

A BMO bank is located at 4501 E La Palma Ave, Anaheim.

Police officers will be at the scene throughout the evening as they continue their investigation.
