An Economic Crimes Investigator has been investigating an embezzlement case since 2021, according to the Irvine Police Department.

The suspect used a company credit card and checks to take $372,000 from the business.

This morning, The Investigations Bureau arrested Charlene Hoffman, 57, of Corona.

Hoffman was booked at Orange County Jail on grand theft, embezzlement, identity theft, forgery, money laundering, and falsifying records.
