The OC Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Oct. 26 to Nov. 2, 2018. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved. Here is the list:

  • Happy Place Nutrition, 1624 S. Main St., Santa Ana. Closed: Oct. 25, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • New Taste, 608 E. First St., Tustin, Closed: Oct. 29, Reason: Plumbing in disrepair
  • Hamle Supermarket, 9895 Warner Ave., Suite A, Fountain Valley, Permit downgraded to prepackaged food only: Nov. 1, Reason: Insufficient hot water/plumbing in disrepair

  • Hoa An Quan, 14291 Euclid St., Suite D101, Garden Grove, Closed: Oct. 30, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 31
  • 3-Thirty-3 Waterfront, 333 Bayside Drive, Newport Beach, Closed: Nov. 1, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Nov. 2
  • Basil Thai Cuisine, 9921 Hamilton Ave., Huntington Beach, Closed: Oct. 30, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Nov. 2
  • Eight Korean BBQ, 6681 Beach Blvd., Suite C, Buena Park, Closed: Oct. 30, Reason: No water supply, Reopened: Oct. 30
  • Am/Pm at Arco station, 1700 W. La Palma Ave., Anaheim, Closed: Oct. 29, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 30
  • Costa Mesa Water Gourmet, 2180 Harbor Blvd., Suite B, Costa Mesa, Closed: Oct. 29, Reason: Cockroach infestation. Reopened: Oct. 30
  • Cafeteria at Zion Lutheran Church and Schools, 222 N. East St., Anaheim, Closed: Oct. 29, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Ball & Bowl at Super 1 Mart, 5301 Beach Blvd., Suite 120, Buena Park, Closed: Oct. 26, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: Oct. 27,
  • La Siesta Mexican Food, 920 N. El Camino Real, San Clemente, Closed: Oct. 25, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 31
  • Hot & Spicy Thai, 16561 Bolsa Chica St., Suite 108, Huntington Beach, Closed: Oct. 25, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Oct. 26
  • Oasis Bar, 10448 Knott Ave., Stanton, Closed: Oct. 25, Reason: Operating without a valid health permit, Reopened: Oct. 27
  • Update: Thai Time Cuisine at 330 N. Harbor Blvd., La Habra, closed Oct. 23 because of a cockroach infestation, reopened Oct. 30
  • Update: Ortegas Restaurant at 2561 W. Ball Road, Anaheim, closed Oct. 23 because of a cockroach infestation, reopened Nov. 2.
