The OC Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Aug. 31 to Sept. 7, 2018. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved. Here is the list:

  • Golden Flower Veggie, 14942 Bushard St., Garden Grove, Closed: Sept. 7, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • Eat Thai Cuisine, 25482 Marguerite Parkway, Suite 102, Mission Viejo, Closed: Sept 7, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Kitchen at The Pearl Laguna, 21095 Raquel Road, Laguna Beach, Closed: Sept. 5, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: Sept. 6
  • Milky Snow Bar, 9764 Chapman Ave., Garden Grove, Closed: Sept. 5, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 6
  • Santouka at Mitsuwa Marketplace, 665 Paularino Ave., Costa Mesa, Closed: Sept. 5, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Thach Che Hien Khanh, 9484 Westminster Ave., Garden Grove, Closed: Sept. 5, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 6
  • Miyabi-Tei at Mitsuwa Marketplace, 665 Paularino Ave., Costa Mesa, Closed: Sept. 4, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • El Pollo Loco, 11025 Warner Ave., Fountain Valley, Closed: Sept. 1, Reason: Fire damage, Reopened: Sept. 5
  • P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, 800 The Shops Blvd., Mission Viejo, Closed: Sept. 1, Reason: Sewage overflow, Reopened: Sept. 2
  • Charley’s Philly Steaks, 1008 The Shops Blvd., Mission Viejo, Closed: Sept. 1, Reason: Sewage overflow, Reopened: Sept. 2
