The SAPD is looking for a Santa Ana man suspected of a fatal hit and run of a pedestrian

Advisory: SAPD Traffic Investigators Request Media/Public Assistance In Locating Suspect Wanted in Fatal Hit & Run Collision

Location: 1100 W. Warner Avenue

Synopsis: On 7/05/2017, Roberto Mateo Garcia (54) Santa Ana was driving a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport, two door white, license plate: 5WHF583 when he struck and killed a pedestrian. Garcia immediately fled the scene in the involved vehicle. Officers were unable to locate Garcia or the vehicle.

Garcia is a male Hispanic, 5’02, 145lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
