2014 OC Fair

The OC Fair 2014 Welcomes Celebrity Chefs Carla Hall, Roy Choi and Kelsey Nixon Demonstrations & autograph signings are free with OC Fair admission

Costa Mesa, Calif. (July 16, 2014– The 2014 OC Fair announces cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs Carla Hall (July 17), Roy Choi (July 24) and Kelsey Nixon (July 31) in The Hangar. Demonstrations are free with Fair admission and will be followed by autograph signing sessions.

Carla Hall is chef and owner of Carla Hall Petite Cookies, co-hosts ABC’s “The Chew” and appeared on “Top Chef.” Watch Carla’s French and Southern cooking style live at the OC Fair on Thursday, July 17 at 4 p.m.
 
Roy Choi operates multiple restaurants in Los Angeles, including Chego!, A-Frame and Sunny Spot. Roy is best known for his taco truck Kogi BBQ that specializes in Mexican and Korean cuisine. Watch Roy’s creative Latin-Asian fusion cooking live at the OC Fair on Thursday, July 24 at 4 p.m.
 
Kelsey Nixon competed on “The Next Food Network Star” and is currently host of “Kelsey’s Essentials” on the Cooking Channel. Kelsey has been a private chef, taught lessons at Sur La Table and created dishes for various chain restaurants. Watch Kelsey’s simple but tasty cooking methods live at the OC Fair on Thursday, July 31 at 4 p.m.

The 2014 OC Fair, themed Summer Starts Here,is July 11 – August 10 and will bring 23 days of food, rides, exhibits, animals, music, action sports and fun, as well as the Super Pass, Toyota Summer Concert Series at the Pacific Amphitheatre and events in The Hangar and Action Sports Arena. The Fair is open WednesdaySunday. Concert tickets, action sports reserved seats, single-day general admission and the popular Super Pass are available for purchase online at ocfair.com or from the on-site Box Office. Free parking and shuttle service are available on Saturdays and Sundays from the Experian parking structure located off the Bristol St. exit of the 405 freeway.
