Guess what?  When you visit the Galaxy, they check your I.D. at the door and stamp your hand to indicate if you are under or over 21.  They system works quite well for them.

Recently we reported that the Yost Theater’s owners are trying to get approval for an I.D. wristband system – which if anything is even more secure than using rubber stamps, but they are facing some token opposition from a group of unhinged people who apparently are against change in general, on the premise that the I.D. system will somehow lead to older men preying on young ladies.

Well, if your daughter is underage, isn’t it YOUR job to make sure she is safe?  And why should this be an issue when facilities such as the Galaxy and the Anaheim House of Blues also identify the minors who attend their events – with zero problems?

Opposing the Yost on these grounds is just silly, yet I am told that even State Senator Lou Correa’s feathers have been ruffled by this.  Yet Correa seemingly has no issue with the House of Blues, which is also in his district.
