Beginning today, the City of Santa Ana, in partnership with UC Irvine, is launching a COVID-19 antibody testing program. The antibody testing program provides free antibody testing for Santa Ana residents. The test itself is a small finger prick blood test and checks for the presence of COVID-19 antibodies in the blood.
Unlike the active (or “viral”) COVID-19 testing that determines if an individual currently has COVID-19, the antibody testing determines whether an individual has had COVID-19 in the past as evidenced by the presence of COVID-19 antibodies in the blood.
Today’s launch is currently taking place at Valley High School and will end at 4 p.m.
The COVID-19 antibody testing will take place at the following locations, dates, and times:
• Tuesday, December 8, through Saturday, December 12, 2020 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saddleback High School

If you are selected to participate, you will hear from us soon! All members of selected households (ages 5+) can get tested at one of our drive-thru locations. You can drive in or walk up.
If you haven’t heard from us, but you live in Santa Ana and would like to participate, you can. No appointment is needed.
