City of Santa Ana, Downtown Orange County

Community: Congratulations to our “Water is Life” Student Art Contest Winners!

As a Member Agency of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California our local Santa Ana schools are asked to participate in their Southern California wide poster contest. Out of over 700 entries from all over Southern California the City of Santa Ana had two winners, a very great accomplishment.

Congratulations to 6th graders Faith Avila and Michael Miramontes, winners of this year’s “Water Is Life” Student Art Contest! Faith and Michael were honored by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and their art work will be displayed on MWD’s 2016 calendar. A big “thanks” to their teacher, Ms. Florence Clifford of Mendez Middle School, for helping spread the #cawater #BeWaterWise message!

The City of Santa Ana is hosting the Traveling Art Exhibit for one week, now thru June 21st. Come by City Hall – located at 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA – to see all the great poster contest winners!
