On Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 7 pm, the Connect-to-Council organization will host a candidate debate for the Santa Ana Mayoral and City Council candidates (Council Wards 1, 3 & 5) at the Rancho Santiago Community College District Board Room.  Click here if you have any questions.

On Thursday, September 27, 2012, at 7 pm, Communication Linkage Forum (Com-Link) will host a candidate forum for the Santa Ana Mayoral and City Council candidates (Council Wards 1, 3 & 5) at the Santa Ana City Council Chambers.  The forum will be televised live on City TV Channel 3.

Both events will be facilitated by the League of Women Voters.

I wonder why these organizations are not holding any SAUSD School Board candidates forums?

  1. Benavides is time to paid back……….Lupe Moreno?
Lupe Moreno for City council………? there you go David..?

Please invite LUPE MORENO, FOR THE MAYORAL AND CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATES DEBATE, SHE WILL SUPPORT BENAvIDES,
DONT FORGET SEPTEMBER 2010, WENT BENAVIDES HONOR LUPE FOR HER OUTSTANDING JOB AS A CITIZEn and a good personal friend.

May be one of the latino organization will look into Benavides records, in regards to the latino comunity in Santa Ana, he has never been in our favor.

        1. But Stanley if you are the only non-Mexican running, then you have a clear shot at the voters who may not be inclined to vote for Latino candidates…

    1. Falcon,

Julio doesn’t count. He NEVER really lived here. That was a poorly executed plot by Gebre and OC LABOR to put their “man” in the race. It took a lot of help from reporters and bloggers alike to defend the fraud.

And to think he might have had a shot (honestly) somewhere else.
