The City of Santa Ana today closed some parking lots and exercise zones at local parks to prevent people from gathering during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Additionally, the River View Golf Course has been closed until further notice.

The parking lot gates have been closed at the following parks:
• Cabrillo
• Cesar Chavez
• Memorial
• Jerome Park (north gate)
• Santa Ana Zoo (at Prentice Park)

These steps follow previous closures of skate parks, community centers, the Zoo, libraries, the Cabrillo Tennis Center, Santa Ana Stadium and senior centers. All Parks and Recreation programs and reservations, except for the take-out senior meal program, have been canceled.

Santa Ana’s outdoor, unenclosed park areas remain open to the public, but everyone should avoid group sports and gatherings and stay at least 6 feet away from others.
