Orchard Supply Hardware (OSH) is finally returning to the greater Santa Ana area as they will be opening a store by the end of April at 1091 Old Irvine Blvd., in Tustin. OSH closed their Santa Ana location, which was on 17th  between Cabrillo Park Drive and Tustin Ave., back in August of 2013.

Orchard Supply Hardware (OSH) currently operates more than 80 stores in California and Oregon. Tustin will be OSH’s third store in Orange County, in addition to the Irvine, Yorba Linda and Buena Park locations.

The new OSH store will reside in Orange County’s former Tustin Lanes bowling alley on Old Irvine Boulevard. The Tustin store will follow similar format to current Orchard Supply Hardware stores and will be staffed by new local employees as well as seasoned OSH veterans and will incorporate design elements reflective of the local neighborhood.

STORE HIGHLIGHTS:

The newly designed approximately 40,000-square-foot store features OSH’s signature “Workbench,” an expanded customer support area for every day maintenance needs, such as knife sharpening, lock re-keying and rescreening.

    1. I think they had some bad leases and were having trouble competing with Home Depot. It seems that they retrenched, got out of the bad leases and were able to restructure their debt. My wife and I always liked shopping at their Santa Ana store.
