Nicandra Lopez wins the SAUSD’s perfect attendance car giveaway

Perfect Attendance Car Giveaway

Santa Ana High School 12th Grade Student Nicandra Lopez won a new 2014 Chevy Sonic, courtesy of Guaranty Chevrolet, this past Saturday at the SAUSD’s Perfect Attendance Car Giveaway event.

The SAUSD has the highest dropout rate in Orange County and they have combated student absenteeism for years by promoting the annual new car giveaway.

The Park Santiago Neighborhood was not thrilled by the fact that the SAUSD mandated that all students who were up for the award had to be present to win.  Cars were parked literally all over the adjacent neighborhood streets.  Guaranty Chevrolet is located on 17th and Santiago, right near one of the three entrances into the Park Santiago neighborhood.

Guaranty Chevrolet is also a generous sponsor of the Northeast Santa Ana Little League.
