A Slice of Literary Orange presents Author Daniel Silva in conversation with Jamie Gangel on Monday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m.

Daniel Silva has been called his generation’s finest writer of international intrigue and one of the greatest American spy novelists ever.

Gangel, an award-winning veteran correspondent, joined CNN in August 2015. Gangel reports for the network’s digital and television platforms, and regularly appears on CNN’s AC360, The Lead with Jake Tapper and The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.

This event will take place at the Norma Hertzog Community Center located at 1845 Park Ave., Costa Mesa, CA 92627.

Silva’s latest book, The Collector, is due to be released on July 18. In this electrifying new thriller, Gabriel Allon undertakes a search for a stolen Vermeer masterpiece and uncovers a conspiracy that could bring the world to the brink of nuclear Armageddon.

Allon is the main protagonist in Silva’s thriller and espionage series that focuses on Israeli intelligence.
